Delivery & Warranty
Before delivery
- Measure doorways, stairs and hallways along the delivery path.
- Check the required hookups: water line, drain, 240V outlet or gas connection.
- Ask whether haul-away of the old appliance and installation are included.
On delivery day
Inspect the appliance for dents or scratches before signing the delivery receipt and note any damage on the paperwork. Keep the packaging until you have confirmed the unit works properly.
Manufacturer warranty
Most major appliances come with a one-year limited parts and labor warranty. Some components, such as sealed refrigeration systems, motors or compressors, are covered for longer periods. Register your appliance with the manufacturer and keep the proof of purchase.
Extended protection
Extended service plans can cover repairs after the manufacturer warranty expires. Compare the price of the plan with the expected repair costs and read what is excluded.
